Red salsa is too spicy for me so i get everything except salsa on my tacos. Adobada: 5/5 so flavorful, love the creme sauce on it as well. Birria: 5/5 tender and so flavorful. Asada: 4/5 meat was lean so alittle drier and there wasnt any sauce in there to help w that unless u put salsa on it. Prob wouldnt order that here. Quesadilla: thick cheese layer and equates to 2-3 tacos. Pretty filling. Only the cashier speaks english it seems but she helped when i got the wrong order. Would def come back! ”

“ I absolutely love this taco shop, even more so than the famous TEG. It's a tiny taco shop nestled in a quiet plaza but they serve the yummiest tacos in town. They offer a variety of tacos, vampiros, fries, and burritos. I love that they also offer pineapple with the adobada and grilled onions on the side. It's hard to find seating for a large party so Togo is the best option. It's my go to taco place in San Diego and I've been here many many times. ”

“ Legit tacos... We stop here when in the area. The vampiros are my fave, with pork. My hubs loves the steaks ones. Since I'm married into a Mexican family, I like to think I have pretty high expectations for tacos. The salsas and other sauces add flavor to their already delicious protein selections, plus they have sangría señorial and topo chico to wash everything down. This is a tiny little spot, but worth a stop. The only reason for my 4 starts is that their cooking isn't always consistent... it is dependent on who is working the flat top. A must try! ”

“ Nice little taco shop with a basic menu. It was kept very clean inside. You can also see the kitchen wall was super shiny and clean which is really hard to maintain. For the menu, you will need to know what they mean before you order so look up the names before you get here as the menu does not have pictures. They have plenty of parking in the shared lot and have one bathroom for the customers. Don't forget to grab the elephant as that is the key to the restroom. They had about 6 tables inside. We ordered a bunch of tacos and I got the birria taco. Their tacos were on the large size with double layers of tortilla. They do put in a lot of the ingredients and I was full of just two tacos. All of the different meats we got were tender and well flavored. (The menu price is per taco.) They gave us some lime wedges and grilled onions with some sort of marinate on it and it was really good. The grilled jalapeño was also a good pairing to their tacos. Wish we had more but it ended up being enough. We had to ask for hot sauces which they gave us the red and green sauces. The sauces weren't that huge with flavor so the tacos were good without them. Same with napkins: you have to ask for it as they have it all behind the counter. Just ask and they will give it to you. They also didn't tell us which taco was what so you need to know what you ordered looks like. Or just place separate orders if you come with multiple people. I really love flan but theirs were a bit too dense. You could stab and pick it up without it breaking. But the flavor was ok. They charged a 0.60 cent fee for using our credit card which I was not aware of but it was not a huge deal. Just keep that in mind just in case you have some cash. ”
